Great blunders for you to enjoy:
What is so great about blunders, you may ask. I think, they are fun, especially, if you are not the victim.
The victim may be the player committing the blunder. Sometimes even worse, it is the player sitting across
the board of that stupid guy, watching him make the most outrageous mistakes and win it anyways. I am
sure you have been in that situation too, despite your noble efforts,
which avoid blunders (or any errors for that matter) by all means.
Blunders clearly demonstrate, that other people are stupid too, which is always good to know!
There are at least two types of blunders:
- Simple oversights - there clearly was a much better play, but the player just did not see it.
There are many examples of this and the only thing you can learn from these is to always try to
keep your concentration, consider all your options and not play too hastily.
- The player considered the correct and the blunderous play and deliberately chose the blunder.
These are much more interesting, especially, if you would have been tempted to make the same mistake,
which you of course never would ;-).
