BRING DOG FOOD!
We
will be collecting for Paws Across America "Dawgs feeding Dawgs"
again & donating to the no-kill shelter of choice each Saturday for
whoever brings the most dogfood!
Last year US
Dawgs raised over 5 TONS of dog food!!
This year our goal is 10 TONS!!!
BRING IT ON!!!!

Practice Random Acts of Kindness

Bake an extra
loaf of banana or zucchini bread and bring it to your neighbor.
Compliment a stranger about something they are wearing.
Cut up plastic six-pack rings so small animals can't get caught in them.
Decide what you want before you open the refrigerator.
Give a hug to a friend.
Give a lottery ticket to a stranger.
Give another driver your parking spot.
Give the gift of your smile.
Give your place in line at the grocery store to another person in a hurry
or w/ children.
Grow herbs and offer them to your neighbors for recipes that require fresh
herbs.
Help
someone struggling with heavy bags.
Hold the door of the elevator for someone rushing to catch it.
Leave a bouquet of flowers on a neighbor's front step anonymously.
Leave a bouquet of flowers on the desk of a colleague w/ whom you don't
normally get along.
Leave enough money in the vending machine for the next person to get a
free treat.
Let someone merge into traffic during rush hour.
Let the person behind you in the grocery store go ahead of you in line.
Mow the grass and/or rake leaves for a neighbor.
Next time you finish your punch card for a "free" item, give it away or
ask the cashier to give it to someone who might need it.
Offer to return a shopping cart to the store for someone loading a car.
Open the door for another person.
Pat someone on the back.
Pay a compliment at least once a day or once every hour.
Pick up litter.
Put notes of encouragement in library books for someone else to find.
Recycle.
Roll a neighbor's garbage cans back up the driveway at the end of trash
pick-up day.
Say something nice to everyone you meet today.
Smile & say hello to someone you don't know.
Stop for a person waiting to cross the street.
Tell your children why you love them.
Tell your employees how much you appreciate their work.
When drivers try to merge into your lane, let them in with a wave and a
smile.
When you are waiting for service, trade "ticket numbers" w/ someone in a
hurry.
Write a note to the boss of someone who has helped you, praising the
employee.
Write a note to your mother/father and tell them why they are special.
Write something nice about your waitperson on the back of the bill.
