The "Temporary" spark gap
Like a lot of things, something temprorary becomes permanant.
I built this simple spark gap from 7 copper pipe couplings, a piece of Lexan and some short #8 bolts.Each gap is about one millimeter. This simple thing works so well, I use it most the time. I know the coil could work better with a forced air multi-gap but that's another project.
