ERP Implementation Project
Scope
:
Manage the evaluation, purchase, and
implementation of a new end-to-end Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
software
solution. Ensure the
project is managed within agreed time
scales and budgets and to required quality standards, make regular
reports to management, liaise with software and service suppliers, and
ensure that benefits are fully realized through effective use of a new
system.
Tasks/Duties :

Prepared work plan,
scheduled and conducted interviews with management and staff, and
documented all operational processes.

Completely document
company wide processes, implementing temporary process improvement
initiatives for current process prior to implementation of new system. |
|
Compiled functional
specifications, defined data and user requirements for the all company
processes, and streamlined current operations for the implementation
of a new company-wide ERP system using unified modeling language (UML). Processes covered:
order management; quotes; sales;
forecasting; work orders; bill of material configuration; inventory; purchasing; manufacturing;
quality control; distribution; field service; vendor management; accounting;
royalties; foreign currency conversions; and
performance reporting. |

Researched and tested
software, developed test-case scenarios, created demo scripts and
client rating workbooks, made presentations, and conducted selection
analysis. |
