Scope
:
Contracted to mentor
junior business analysts in TEA’s processes and procedures. Charged with
the placement of development standards and user interface design.

Tasks/Duties :
 |
Performed analysis of the existing
Foundation School Program (FSP) documentation in order to create a
high-level diagram of the “as is” system and then transition to
defining the new application “to be”. |
 |
Organized, planed and held requirements
gathering work sessions with FSP users and translate the results into
use cases, activity diagrams, web-page mock-ups, and other documents
to help explain and define the requirements of the new application. |
 |
Wrote clear and concise requirements
specification documentation, (Unified Modeling Language (UML) use
cases and activity diagrams, Visio diagrams, etc.) which will be used
in the development of the new FSP application, workflows, processes
and Crystal reports. |
 |
Worked with FSP technical team and FSP
internal users to clarify documented requirements. |
 |
Documented new development requirements
using a combination of tools including MS Word, Excel, Visio, and
Enterprise Architect a UML tool. |
 |
Mentored and transferred knowledge
gained to TEA employees. |
 |
Worked closely
with the TEA FSP project manager, FSP technical team and the FSP
users. |
 |
Reported on the progress of assigned
tasks to the TEA FSP project manager. |
