Untitled, Acrylic on canvas, 16"W x 20"H

Rick had painted this particular character in at least five previous paintings. The first time was in the late 1970's, when he used the character in a mural inside the Orpheum Theatre in Champaign, Illinois. Several other versions, some in acrylic and some in watercolor, had been given to friends as gifts. The woman also appeared in a large plaster mural that originally was hung in the lobby of a Dallas office building.

This version was completed sometime during 2000.
