Untitled, Oil on canvas, 20" W x 16"H

Rick avoided the use of oil-based paints. However, after seeing some of my sister's paintings, he went to Michael's and bought oil paints. From his journal:

April 4, 2000:

"Chuck being asshole about helping me with colors. Flowers - repainted. 'Different'. Oh, he makes me furious. Painted oil - not fun."

Rick was color-blind, so I would sometimes assist with color selection. Apparently, I wasn't very cooperative that day.

This painting was purchased by a gallery client on November 17, 2001.
