Madame X, Acrylic on canvas, 16"W x 20"H

On June 12, 1995, Rick started antiviral treatment with AZT. In July, he joined the choir at Metropolitan Community Church. On August 12th, he was an exhibitor at "Family Fest" at the Austin Convention Center. On August 29, 1995, he discontinued AZT after 77 days since he had required three blood transfusions during that time due to AZT-induced anemia.

Madame X was completed on September 19, 1995.
