Blue Charade, Mixed media on canvas, 24"W x 30"H

Back in the early 1990's, before Rick started using sketch books, he made his sketches on sheets of white letter paper. He kept these old sketches in a box. In April 2000, Rick went through those old sketches and started tearing them up in order to place bits of them in this piece. Luckily, he didn't destroy all his prior sketches.

From his journal, dated April 24, 2000:
