Angel in Blue 2000, Acrylic on canvas, 24"W x 30"H

Angel in Blue 2000 was completed in September 2000 following Rick's return from his 25th high school reunion in Champaign, Illinois.

This is the second version of the painting. The original Angel in Blue was completed in March 1998, and was similar, but thinner. It was exhibited at Zachary Scott Theatre Center in Austin during their run of the play Angels in America. Rick gave the 1998 painting to his mother.

Angel in Blue 2000 was delivered to Art Encounter on October 4, 2000.
