Off Center Arts is an alternative arts venue operating under the umbrella of Austin Circle of Theaters. The facility is located just off of East 7th St., about a mile east of I-35. We occupy half of a large warehouse building which we have been slowly renovating. The performance space is 38' X 42', and is constructed of cinderblock with a concrete floor, painted black. The rafters are 14' from the floor. We have not installed a lighting system in the performance space due to the changing needs of our event clients. However, we have installed a 200 amp, 220 volt supply that is available for use. Some seating is available, 50 seats that were salvaged from an old movie theatre. We also rent work spaces to artists. The spaces are 12'X16' with flourescent lighting and concrete floors. The terms are a 6 mo. minimum lease, $125/mo rent, $100 deposit. A bathroom and sink is available for tenant use.
