02/18/05 Hmmm, a year and a half since the last update. Heh, if you can't tell I've been out of the TW world for awhile now. Unfortunately this means I haven't been actively working on TWScripter in some time. I have made a small update to the Scripting page to set it up to provide links to user submitted scripts. If you have a script feel free to email me and I'll put up a link to it.
10/30/03 Beta 11 has been released. It contains enhancements for performing course plots from AppleScript as well as minor bug fixes.
02/15/03 Beta 10 has been released. It contains some minor tweaks to fix bugs in the new enhancments and few minor other issues.
02/15/03 Beta 9 is here. It mostly has a bunch of small fixes and good enhancements. Enjoy!
01/19/03 Just some minor website maintenance. A new beta of TWScripter is in the works though, so keep checking back!
09/14/02 Beta 8 was released today. With it auto reconnect finally works like it is supposed to. Additionally the status display has received an upgrade so it will remain more accurate at all times.
07/28/02 Beta 7 was released today. It corrects a few issues found in the new features added for beta 6.
07/24/02 Beta 6 was released today. It adds a few new enhancements, plus some minor bug fixes.
07/07/02 Beta 5 was released today. Once again it only contains a minor bug fix related to playing TW on certain BBS systems.
05/22/02 Beta 4 was released today. Mostly just a few minor bug fixes and enhancements.
02/06/02 Beta 3 was released today. It contains a few bug fixes for various issues. No major enhancements for this version however. This also might be the last update for awhile due to my busy schedule since school has started. Special thanks to Colin Stagner a.k.a cbs228 for helping me track down a couple of the bugs.
01/21/02 Beta 2 was released today. It contains a few bug fixes for issues that could cause crashes. Also a Carbon build has been posted for this version so it can run natively in OS X.
01/14/02 Its been awhile, but I'm posting the first beta of TWScripter 3. Check out the downloads section. You might also want to keep an eye on the downloasd section as I'll try to offer some more documentation on TWScripter 3 as I have time. Right now it has NO documentation. :(
08/16/01 TWScripter 3 is coming along slowly but surely. The other major piece of news is I created a standalone program for determing the closest fig to a location. It reads a CIM file and an output of the deployed fighters and from that can plot courses and find closest fighters. You can find it in the downloads section.
07/14/01 I have done quite alot of work since March update, I just haven't updated the page here. Today I got CIM import/export working most of the way. This will be nice to have so people with TWS2 can upgrade to TWS3 just by importing the CIM file TWS2 exports into TWS3. Saves me from having to write an extra utility that does the update. I also optimized the routine that does reading and writing of the database, because before there had been quite a long delay opening and closing sessions. Right now there is one major bug in TWS3 that I'm working on getting fixed. My first official alpha release is approaching. So keep checking back!!!
03/17/01 Changed things around a tiny bit. I added the scripting page, to help show what I've been working on recently. I made some pretty good progress this last week, but now I have to go back to school so there might not be much progress again for awhile. We'll see...
02/10/01 Today/last night I was able to get a prototype of my ZTM script to run in the helper. I'm using it to test out the basic scripting functionality of the helper. So far I've found a couple of different issues that will need to be worked out, but overall some progress is being made. If I get more time and there's something interesting to show I'll put up a screenshots page.
01/12/01 I added a some new pages tonight. I should really finish all the existing pages before I add new stuff, but new stuff is always more fun! I'm gonna try and finish up the rest of the pages tomorrow.
01/06/01 Created the present format. I'm still creating all the pages, but I have decided on the layout I want. The whole site is keyboard navigable, using the keys shown in the menu at left. For instance, hit the 'f' key on your keyboard to goto the Features page. You can also of course click on the appropriate menu item and be taken to that page. Feel free to leave me your feedback on the new layout.
