TROLLEY TOUR

Saturday, October 12   -   10:30 to 12:30   -   FREE

Take a nostalgic trolley ride from the Holiday Inn to such historic sights as Bill Jones Drive Inn and Burley’s as well as other lesser-known locations such as Bobcat Stadium and Central High School.

We will have a Dutch Treat Lunch on Historic Concho Street. You can even tour Miss Hattie’s, the notorious House of Ill Repute ($3 per person with reservation). A few blocks away is the new and architecturally-significant San Angelo Museum of Fine Art. Past the museum is the new River Stage, El Paseo de Santa Angela and the historic buildings of Old Town. Then, Fort Concho National Historic Landmark, said to be the best preserved Indian-Wars fort in America. These are the historic, revitalized parts of San Angelo from the time that this was the Wild, Wild West.

This is a free tour but we need to know how many want to participate so we will have enough transportation. Indicate on the reservation form if you want to be included in the Trolley Tour.
