Well,

Here we go.  Two days from leaving here and our date changes.  Looks like I will now be in Iraq for Thanksgiving.

Our new date to leave is the day after Thanksgiving, 25 NOV.  Our date to leave Kuwait has not changed as of today, so all this really means is a few more days in Iraq insted of Kuwait.  Not too bad I guess.  A bed is better than a cot...

We still have to vacate our offices tomorrow so I'll have limited email access from now on.  I pack up my computer tomorrow morning.

That just means I get to spend more time at the "haji mart".  I bought about 10 DVD's between yesterday and today.  Debbie - No Gilmore Girls yet.  Of course, their answer is always "tomorrow we have".  So, I'll keep checking there until I actually leave here!  I did get the Soprano's for you though.  Seasons 1-5.

Maria - If you read this soon, how much did you pay for your rugs over here and what kind are they.  Are they silk on silk, silk on wool, or wool on wool.  Oh, and what size.  Just curious to see if the carpet place here on base is over-charging or not.  Also, any Star Trek boxed series you still need?  They have a bunch of them.  Deep Space 9, Generations, Voyager...I can't remember them all!  Let me know soon...

Amanda - I am still being strong and resisting that rug.  As long as I stay out of that shop I think I'll make it :)
