Hello y'all,
I know it's been longer than usual since my last email, but
we had a communication blackout (we couldn't use the
internet or make phone calls) for a few days because we had
the first casualty in our Brigade from Texas. What makes
this even more sad is that it was an accident, nothing to do
with combat.
Otherwise, things here are the same. Not much going on here
at Tellil.
Thanks Amanda for putting all those pictures up on the
website, I love being able to see how everyone back home is
doing. Also, everyone, I must confess...it is Amanda, not
I, that made the website and keeps it updated. So, thank
you again Amanda, I know everyone appreciates the site!
I received a present,

attached. I'll let everyone guess who I got it from! I
also received the books you sent Malia, thanks! It was
perfect timing, I just finished a book so now I can read
Kushiel's Avatar.
It cooled off for a few days here last week (high of only
about 108) but it has warmed up again (back in the 115-120
range). It is starting to get a little cooler in the
evenings and mornings though, so hopefully the heat will
start to go down during the day.
