Well everyone, I am finally here.  Believe it or not, I think it was actually hotter in Kuwait.  It is very dusty and sandy here.  I just got in last night so today we in-process and get shown around the base.

I finally have a room (even though it's in a trailer) with just one roommate.  It has AC that works and a bed instead of a cot, so I have no complaints.

Our living area is about a mile from where I will be working, so it looks like I'll be getting a lot of exercise walking back and forth.  I don't know what my work schedule will be like yet, but we were told that we work six days and have one day off.  Believe it or not, that is more than I was expecting.  I didn't think we'd have a day off.

I hope you all are doing well and having fun.  Have some for me!  The city that is closest to Tallil airbase is An (Al?) Nasiriyah.  Not sure on that spelling.  I know Tallil isn't listed on a map, so hopefully you can find the city to get an idea of where I am.

Also, thanks for all the responses to my previous email.  It is hard for me to answer each of you individually, since we are limited to only 15 minutes on the computer at a time.  I will continue to send out the group emails, and will try to answer all the questions here.  For right now, there is nothing I can think of that I need here, well, nothing that you can send anyway (a margarita sure would be good!).  When I figure out what I need I'll let you guys know.
