I was born
at a very early age, on December 17, 1962 at Presbyterian
Hospital in Albuquerque, New
Mexico, USA.

My parents are Ferdinand Louis Iacoletti and Eve Cora Chirigos
-
Dad was a dentist but is now retired and enjoys fly-fishing.
-
Mom died in 1992. In 1979 she changed her name to Eve Bardas (a
variant on her original family name in Crete). She taught high school
English for several years, and was a Unitarian Universalist minister for
several years.

I grew up in Albuquerque and went to the following schools:

Sunset Mesa (nursery school and
Kindergarten)

Aspen Elementary [later renamed in honor of John
Baker, who was my PE teacher] (1st and 2nd grade)
Often, when I am reading a good book, I stop and thank my teacher. That
is, I used to, until she got an unlisted number.

Embudo Elementary (3rd and 4th grade)

Albuquerque Academy (5th - 8th grade)

Eldorado High School (9th
- 12th grade), graduated class of 1979

University of New Mexico (Bachelor of
Science, Computer Engineering, 1984)

In 1984 I came to Austin, Texas
to work for the IBM Corporation on UNIX®
workstations.
I am currently a software engineer doing problem determination and debug
in AIX®
development.

I live in Cedar Park,
which is a small but rapidly growing city northwest of Austin.
My family

In 1985, I married Martha Nethers. We have two adorable children,
Paul
Raymond (born in 1989) and Stephanie
Eve (born in 1991). Martha and I are divorced now.
