(Does this still work, John? I guess I'm about to find out! :)

I have literally thousands of pictures of Amikoj. I'm planning to get a slide scanner and make digital copies of those slides. That's partly so they won't fade out, as photos can. But I also realized that people in the group might want to have their own copies of these photos... and that, with a CD burner, that will be really easy for me to do!

I've lost track of a lot of our group. If one of you is reading this and you'd be interested in getting copies of some photos, please send me email (jpeek@jpeek.com).

I'm also wondering a bit about permission to distribute the photos on CD to whoever wants them. When photos were on film and paper, I never thought twice about making copies and giving them to people. But electronic photos are so easy to spread around. And now that we're all adults, mostly serious and sober, with professional colleagues to impress and mortgages to pay, photos of some of the zany things we did as teenagers might embarrass some of us. I wouldn't want that to happen. If anyone has any suggestions for how I might deal with that, I'd be glad to get them too.

Thanks, all...
Jerry

nice work, John: thank you for providing a means to re-connect/stay connected! due to other life stuff, i was unable to materialize myself at past Amikoj reunion activities. fortunately, the Bakers and Derek (and J-R-E, once or twice) have kindly passed along bits of alumnus news over the years.
i offer a small (but significant, to me)amendment to my year of beginning you have on the list: along with Lisa Hodges, i began at the very beginning of the "Baker Years," which as i recall, actually came about the autumn of '72(!?)(at which time we had not yet taken the venerable name "Amikoj." We assembled, initially, to provide a fun childcare program for an R.E. teacher's retreat that was held over a weekend at Hummingbird..."the rest is History" (ourstory?). :-)
Fond greetings to all, and thanks again!
rhonda
p.s. i have a few photos from an Amikoj Hummingbird camp, taken aprox. May 1977, which i would be happy to find some way of sharing with you, if interested.
