Based out of beautiful Taylor, Texas, Emory Alan Designs brings you hand crafted beaded jewelry and accessories using semi precious gemstones, sterling silver, 14K gold, and fine simulated stones, as well as beautiful glass beads, Swarovski crystals and fine quality findings. You will find a wide range of styles and prices to fit your mood and your budget! If you are looking for a unique and one-of-a-kind item for a gift or for yourself, you've come to the right place.

A friend recently asked me how I would describe my jewelry in one sentence. I would have to say "mood of the moment" best describes my designs. Sometimes I want to design something that is big, bold and flashy; other times, the stones I am working with really call for something simple and delicate. The one consistent feature across all of my work is quality. I am not satisfied with sub-par stones and materials. I look for natural gemstones and pearls that best reflect each's natural beauty and highest quality. You will also see a beautiful balance of color, size and shape throughout my work. If you see something you like online - you will be even more pleased with it in person! My photos just can not capture the true beauty of each as seen in person.

About the Name
I named my store after my great-grandfather. He was a wonderful, distinguished man with a lot of character. When I think of him, I am reminded of his constant committment to the highest standards; he was a consummate gentleman who was very generous and loving, and was always there for his family, and always gave his customers 100%! He started working as a stock boy at a large department store, in the jewelry department (where else?) and worked his way up to vice-president before he retired. This is a very small tribute to him, and, I hope, a reflection of the priceless qualities he set as an example to me and my family every day of his life.

Custom Designed Pieces
If you are interested in a custom designed piece, please feel free to contact me and I will be happy to discuss this with you. Commissioned pieces are accepted on a limited basis. A nonrefundable deposit,equal to approximately 50% of the final cost, is due before work is started on a custom designed piece. This deposit will be applied to the final cost of your item but is not refundable should you be unable to complete your purchase.

Sizing
Sizing on items purchased from Emory Alan Designs are minimal and can be quoted for you prior to purchase. Sizing on items not purchased from Emory Alan Designs are based on the fees listed below under "repairs."

Repairs
Repairs on items not purchased from Emory Alan Designs are accepted on a limited, case by case, basis and fees are as follows:

• Restringing: $25/hr - 1 hour minimum + any material costs
• Add charm - $25/hr - 1/2 hour minimum + any material costs
• Change clasp - $25/hr - 1 hour minimum + any material costs
• Restring pearls - $30/hr - 1 hour minimum + any material costs
