Rear view of the Bat-v showing engine and differential
This shows the axle with only two bearing supports.
Two more 2 inch angle iron bearing supports were added later.
You can see the bushing slipping out the right side of the differential in this picture.
The wheels and chain were causing too much flex in the differential and would have
failed without the additional bearing support. It works fine now.
The drum brake on the left side of the axle is a go-kart brake from Northern Tools.
