GURPS Lite is a 32-page "lite" version of GURPS, the Generic Universal Role Playing System from Steve Jackson Games. It's absolutely free, and available on the web. You can visit the Steve Jackson Games GURPS Lite Page to get a copy. It requires Adobe Acrobat Reader to look at and print.

Okay, I've got it. I've read it, and I think it's cool. What's this page all about?

GURPS Lite compacted the GURPS system into 32 easily-digestible pages, but this didn't leave much room in the document for things like examples, characters, or scenarios. That's where this page comes in! We've got a complete example of character creation, several example characters, an example of GURPS Lite combat (which includes using spells in combat), a complete mini-campaign setting (coming soon), and links to other GURPS pages of interest (also coming soon).
