I have a big cage filled with toys downstairs near the window where I spend my weekdays while everyone is at work or school.  I like toys like wooden blocks, leather strips, ladders, bells, swings, balls, food, etc.  Mom and dad are careful when choosing toys. They make sure not to get ones with loose threads, unraveled rope, or hooks, which I can hang myself with.  Mom and dad have just started buying me baby toys. They should be pretty safe and are less expensive than bird toys.  Another inexpensive toy is cut 1/4 inch slices of 2x4's.  I go through them like candy. I am usually pretty good so I am not usually locked in my cage.  I like to perch on top of the cage where I can get a good view of the TV and watch my favorite show ... Animal Planet.
