People always ask mom and dad if I can talk.  Of course I can, but since I have everything I want, why should I?  In the morning and early evening I feel like talking the most.  Birds in the wild usually practice talking at this time when in large noisy groups.  I feel most comfortable talking with some noise in the background like running water, a hair dryer, a vacuum cleaner, etc.  I can say everyone's names: "Lula", "Dad" ,"Tania", "Mann", "Jerson", and even grandma "Elda". I also know the vowels in Spanish, "Hello", "I luv You", "nite-nite", "hot", and "Shower".   I love to laugh and can even bark like a dog.  Most people consider the African Grey or Amazon Parrots to be the best talkers. They talk well but can be fairly aggressive.  Every time mom tried to pickup an Amazon she liked it would bite her hard! Mom and dad decided on me since I was more social with people than those stuck up birds!  Mom and dad made a streaming movie clip of me. Click here to view a Real Player movie of me saying hello.

Dad has been slacking in getting more recordings of me talking. Click on the picture below to get to kippy's webpage. Kippy's mom has recorded about a dozen audio clips of Kippy talking up a storm.
