I am very smart. I am often compared to a three-year-old baby. As such I can be potty trained.  Birds are taught early by their parents to not potty in the nest.  I will always try and potty over the edge of my cage when I can.  That is why a metal skirt around the outside edge of my cage is a good idea.  I normally have to go about every fifteen minutes during the day.  If every fifteen minutes or so mom or dad can remember to take me to a good spot and say the magic word they taught me I will usually go.  Sometimes I will make a mess when they forget or I am just being stubborn.  When I make a mess on purpose mom or dad cleans it up and locks the dirty paper napkin and me in the cage for a while. I have never pottied in my upstairs cage where I sleep (which I consider my nest). I will wait until morning and wakeup dad and have him take me to the bathroom.

Sometimes I like to help dad design the computers of tomorrow. He lets me perch on top of the computer if I am good:

Although I am more social than most birds I still have a pretty strong personality. My bite is strong enough to draw blood, but not very bad compared to the large macaws or other large birds like Amazons. I have never really bitten daddy hard but almost everyone else has been bit. I can act like a spoiled rotten kid when I don't get my way. An example might be when I want to be with daddy but mommy takes me away. Mom and dad are patient, they scold me and lock me in the cage for awhile. I quickly learn what I can and cannot get away with. P.S. I have been known to chase after my dog buddy Molly and chomp on her good to keep her in her place! Sometimes I like to chew on other things like my dad's camera:
