| Hobbies |
I am really a country girl at heart. I enjoy going into New York City sometimes for a show or museum (or tennis!), but after a very short time, I find myself eager to get back out to my little piece of the Island. I have my Masters' in English, and should soon finsih my Masters' in Government and Politics. I enjoy long walks on the empty beach and hiking in the woods, watching tennis and tennis players, camping, watching tennis players and shirt changes, reading, music, watching tennis, tennis players, tennis players changing shirts, nature, animals, and genealogy...did I mention tennis and tennis players? |
| Arnaud/Tennis |
Speaking of tennis, I first noticed Arnaud in Boston in 1998. He played Jonas Bjorkman, and lost....but gained a fan. He was so determined and energetic. He really loved what he was doing, and it showed. I particularly sought him out at the US Open later in 98, and again he was just so much fun to watch, there was no turning back. I have seen him play each year since then, once again in Boston, then Long Island and the US Open, and he never disappoints. His game will never overpower his opponent, but he is so fast, and he uses his mind and his quickness to play his tennis, which is a joy to watch. It is such fun to watch him "create" a point. He always keeps us guessing, too......if he's clean shaven, goateed, full-bearded, or my own personal favorite, scruffy. Besides, that smile of his reaches deep into his eyes, and that tells alot about his personality. |
