Austin Friends is an informal social group of friendly individuals that share our "challenge".  We meet several times a month for dinner, movies, happy hours, sporting events, seasonal activites, parties, and occasional out-of-town trips.  The purpose is to provide a relaxed setting for members to have fun and meet friends.

Each event is sponsored by a group member who coordinates all the details.  We need more volunteers to sponsor events and keep a variety of activites planned.

A monthly newsletter is passed out at the Austin Help meeting each month. A schedule of events is sent out to the e-mail list as well. Always check the Calendar of Events for last minute details or cancellations. If you are interested in joining the e-mail list, please sign up with Yahoo Groups. AustinHFriends@Yahoogroups.com is a our e-mail list. You can subscribe to this list and receive e-mails that are broadcast to all of our members. We share information about upcoming events, reminders, new medical information, items of interest, and even friendly chatter. Your e-mail address is protected.
