The Most Important Shot

There are several varieties of important shots.

#1 "The Intimidator"

This is the shot that is your choice as the weapon you wish to establish. In each and every match you should attempt to establish this weapon and utilize it to increase the liklihood of your other shots scoring. This weapon may change from opponent to opponent.

#2 "The Shuffle"

These are the shots designed to put in just enough variety that your opponent can't just sit on "The Intimidator". They also probe for different weaknesses.

#3 "The Closer"

These are the shots (or shot) specifically designed to storm out the match or game.

#4 "The Miracle Worker"

This is the shot (or attack) that is held in complete reserve to be pulled out when either a match can go either way OR you are way down in a match. Many players don't use "The Miracle Worker" but those that do have a tendency to come back from behind in games or matches.

Master, or Grand Master play if you will, is the high level integration of at least the first 3 of these shots and in some cases all 4.

User note: "The Intimidator" can also be "The Closer" "The Shuffle" can also be "The Closer" or "The Miracle Worker" "The Closer" can also be "The Intimidator" "The Miracle Worker" can also be "The Closer"

Plus the characteristics of each of these may change during a match. But its important for you to know what shots are designated and why.
