The above is a picture of lake Atitlan that we took three years ago on our trip to Guatemala. We go back frequently because Guatemala is only 1,200 miles away from Austin and it is always nice and cool. This is because 2/3 of the country is in the highlands and it is considered the country of The Eternal Spring.  The picture to the right shows myself with my daughters Michelle (5 years) and Kelsey (15 Months). My wife Christine and daughter Corinna are not in the picture because they don't want to be exposed to the unguarded Internet.
