Corset Print
This project was done for my printmaking class. I thought I would be printing computer graphics and things like that. I thought it would be a great class to take to hopefully get a job in a field somehow related to art. Boy was I wrong. In the basement of the school I did this print etching the image into a copper plate using acid, then smearing ink all over it and running it through a press. It is a view from the rear of a woman in a corset. I’m glad I finally have a place to show this seeing as how I burned the skin off my hands several times and ruined more clothes than I’d like to remember.
